OBJECTIVE
Flexiroam is a global leader in eSIM technology, offering competitive mobile data solutions that ensure seamless connectivity worldwide. Their mission focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences while enabling users to engage effortlessly through an omnichannel platform, optimising both mobile and web applications alongside administrative operations.
Flexiroam set out to create a unified platform that would allow customers to manage their mobile data and stay connected anywhere in the world. Their ambition was to bring together mobile, web, and administrative systems into one architecture powered by eSIM technology.
This meant not only improving the customer experience across devices but also creating scalable infrastructure capable of supporting thousands of simultaneous users, embedding analytics into the core of the product, and reducing inefficiencies in the way the business was operating.
At the same time, the platform had to be prepared for international growth, supporting localisation and regional requirements.

UNIQUE CHALLENGES
When we began, Flexiroam’s systems were fragmented and difficult to maintain. Administrative teams were managing multiple disconnected platforms, while customers experienced friction moving between devices and applications.
The company’s global presence also required a scalable approach to internationalisation. Content, currencies, and languages needed to adapt across regions without creating new layers of complexity.
The biggest challenge, however, was eSIM provisioning itself. Unlike standard mobile apps, Flexiroam required integration at a deep, low-level layer of the mobile operating systems. Automating the activation and management of eSIM cards is highly complex and involves tight compliance with device manufacturers’ specifications. Achieving this across both iPhone and Android — within an ambitious timeline and budget — required a level of technical expertise rarely available outside specialist teams.
Finally, the new platform had to be designed for growth. It needed to handle thousands of concurrent users reliably, provide real-time analytics, and be optimised for discoverability through strong technical SEO.

TECH SOLUTION
Hello Again delivered an integrated digital ecosystem spanning mobile, web, and administration, built around a centralised backend system. This unified architecture powered the native mobile apps, web app, and website, ensuring consistent performance and reliability for both customers and administrators.
On the user-facing side, adaptive frontends provided a fluid experience across devices. For administrators, Payload CMS created a single hub to manage global content, paired with analytics to track usage and guide strategy. The platform also included Stripe integration for global payments and subscriptions, SMS and push notifications to keep customers informed, and the INSIDER SDK to drive personalised marketing and engagement.
The most significant achievement was the engineering of eSIM integration. Our team wrote advanced low-level code that enabled the mobile apps to directly manage eSIM provisioning, activation, and switching on both iOS and Android devices. This allowed users to install and activate eSIM profiles inside the app without needing to leave the platform or follow complicated manual steps. The process — which is highly technical under the hood — was made effortless for customers, masking complexity behind an intuitive interface.
This integration required extensive testing and optimisation to ensure reliability across thousands of concurrent users worldwide. The system was designed to handle scenarios such as switching between networks, provisioning multiple eSIM profiles, and ensuring compliance with device and carrier standards. By embedding internationalisation and scalability into the architecture, the platform not only delivered a smooth experience today but also laid the foundation for expansion into new markets.
THE OUTCOME
The new Flexiroam platform transformed the company’s digital operations and customer experience. For users, managing mobile data through eSIM technology is now quick and intuitive, with activation, switching, and subscriptions handled directly within the app. Customers stay connected across regions without friction, supported by real-time updates through notifications and a reliable backend built for scale.
For the business, administration has become far more efficient. Content, payments, analytics, and marketing are consolidated, giving the team a centralised platform to manage global operations. The infrastructure is capable of supporting thousands of simultaneous users and adapting to regional requirements, from localisation to payment preferences.
Today, Flexiroam’s mobile app is live on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, backed by a new web app and website that highlight its global presence. With its advanced eSIM automation and scalable digital foundation, the company is firmly positioned as a leader in connectivity technology, ready to expand into new markets and continue redefining how people stay connected worldwide.
